PLATFORM ONE + TRADEWINDS AWARDABLE

We put the same mission-software capability, Solarys Core, through two separate competitive assessments and earned an Awardable designation from each.

← Case Studies

How we're working to keep government teams state of the art.

Platform One and Tradewinds each ran their own competitive assessment. The result from both was Awardable.

Mission data can’t leave the boundary

The defense teams we build for run on data locked inside controlled repositories. They can’t hand it to a public AI service, and they can’t act on answers that arrive without evidence.

So we built for the boundary

Solarys Core is not a product we install. It is the architecture and process we follow for restricted environments: authorization before retrieval, cited evidence behind every response, markings preserved, activity logged. When the evidence isn’t there, the system abstains.

May 2026: We took it to Platform One first

We condensed a working commercial application into the marketplace’s five-minute format: fragmented data turned into mission workflows, trade-network analysis, source-cited knowledge. Platform One’s assessor panel scored it through its competitive rubric and assessed it Awardable.

August 2026: Then we went to Tradewinds

For the second assessment we led with the security story: who can retrieve what, how each answer carries its evidence, what the audit trail shows. We backed it with NIST-corpus benchmarks, and the CDAO’s assessors rated it Awardable as well.

Two marketplaces reached the same conclusion.

Viewing the assessed Solarys solutions requires an authorized government marketplace account.

Platform One Solutions Marketplace

We presented Solarys Core as mission software for fragmented, hard-to-action data: trade-network analysis and source-cited mission knowledge.

About the marketplace

A Department of the Air Force repository of post-competition, readily awardable five-minute pitch videos for hardware, software, and service solutions.

Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace
Assessed Awardable in August 2026

Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace

We presented Solarys Core as governed AI for controlled repositories: permissioned retrieval, answers that carry their evidence, and system behavior an inspector can verify.

About the marketplace

The CDAO’s repository of post-competition, readily Awardable solution videos for AI/ML, digital, and data analytics, fully compliant with the March 2025 SECWAR software acquisition memo and the April 2025 defense acquisition executive order.

The two numbers we actually care about.

Before submitting to Tradewinds, we benchmarked against a NIST reference corpus of 982 indexed chunks. Standard models are rewarded for confident guessing. We built the opposite behavior, and these two results are that behavior measured.

0

Grounding violations

No response cited evidence that wasn’t in the corpus. Zero fabricated findings.

100%

Abstention on unsupported questions

When the corpus couldn’t support an answer, the system declined. Every time.

Also reported: 73.3% fully grounded responses, 75% citation-evidence retrieval, 304 ms p95 retrieval, 1.96 s p95 first token. Numbers any well-built retrieval system should hit, reported for completeness. Our own benchmarks, not a DoD operational evaluation.

What the designations open up.

Buyers can now find us inside the fence

Government customers with a .gov or .mil marketplace account can pull up Solarys Core on either marketplace, watch the assessed videos, and contact us directly for a demonstration.

A bridge that runs both directions

The system the assessors watched runs a paying commercial operation today. Commercial deployment matured the process; defense governance hardened it. That is the dual-use posture acquisition policy is asking for.

A shorter path from interest to contract

Both listings carry post-competition status, with acquisition timelines that can run under 45 days. A buyer’s local contracting support activity can engage, or either marketplace’s acquisition team makes the connection.
